IRS issue guidance for the advanced manufacturing investment credit
The Advanced Manufacturing Investment Credit, established by the CHIPS Act of 2022, is intended to incentivize the manufacture of semiconductors and semiconductor manufacturing equipment within the United States.
The Internal Revenue Service issued proposed regulations that provide guidance regarding the implementation of the elective payment provisions of the Advanced Manufacturing Investment Credit.
Families will soon receive their December advance Child Tax Credit payment
IRS announced that millions of American families will soon receive their final advance Child Tax Credit (CTC) payment for the month of December. Eligible families who did not receive advance payments can claim the Child Tax Credit on their 2021 federal tax return to receive missed payments and the other half of the credit.
