FLORIDA’s DOR Reemployment Tax Due Date

Employer’s Quarterly Report (Form RT-6) for July, August, and September 2022 is due. You must file a report for each quarter, even if no tax is due. To ensure the accurate payment of reemployment benefits, it is vital that reports are filed timely.

If you file and pay electronically, you must initiate payment no later than 5 p.m. ET on Friday, October 28, 2022. The Department of Revenue’s File and Pay webpage is at floridarevenue.com/taxes/filepay.

If you file a paper report, your report and payment must be postmarked or hand-delivered by Monday, October 31, 2022.

If you are participating in the installment payment plan during 2022, check to see which installment payments you have due for the third quarter. Please visit https://taxapps.floridarevenue.com/rt6calculator/. If you pay by check or money order your payment and installment coupon must be postmarked or hand-delivered by Monday, October 31, 2022. If, however, you are paying the October installment electronically, the payment must be initiated by 5 p.m. ET on Friday, October 28, 2022.

Reports and payments received after the above dates are subject to penalty and interest. Failure to receive a reminder is not grounds for waiver of penalties and interest charged for late filing or payment.

To correct a previously filed quarterly report, you can submit corrections online using the Department’s File and Pay webpage at floridarevenue.com/taxes/filepay. If you are required to file and pay electronically, you are also required to submit corrections electronically.
